Lol.. I was just about to reply to you (actually in the midst of the message)
and Leo jumped on my keyboard from someplace.. and bam.. somehow "typed" a
bunch of garbage and saved the message - Geez hahahahaha...

Yes, that's the key I think.

Well her eyes lit up when I told her I welcomed the cooler weather "a little"
since at least then I didn't mind baking apple pies haha.. guess that was kind
of tricky (g)..but it's true :) :) So maybe we'll adjust better with apple pie
:)

Yes, the house will be heated more evenly and sealed up, etc., right now
nothing is in place for 'chily' weather, like storm windows, air-conditioner
sleeves, etc. We've only had a few cold nights so far, and not really that
cold.. maybe 50's once or twice?  the other nights have been in the 60's which
is almost too warm as far as I'm concerned (g).

Certainly bigger parties :)  I told my Aunt I would make the birthday cake so
now I want to make a really fancy one.. I used to make one that was split
layers of cake filled with fruit and pastry cream that my family loved when I
was a lot younger.. my Mom used to say it was like having the Italian bakery in
the house haha.. but I loved making it.. It was a genoise 9" 2 layer cake, then
I split the layers into 4, soaked them in italian wine and filled it with
Italian pastry cream and fruit.  Not for the faint-hearted Lol.. I guess given
everyone's health these days I ought to forgo the wine or decrease it a bit..
(g) Not soak the cake in other words :) :)

Oh yeah, that's the truth!  She called last week and asked me if I thought Mom
should come back "early" since she's falling and all that.  I told her, no,
she's not "falling".. she fell "once".  Because of medication.  And she's not
taking that anymore. geez (g)
