We brought a bottle of home made psuedo-Malinda's hot sauce as well as
several other forms of heat.  Told the adults about it but kept it away
from the kids, for obvious reasons. (G)  One guy really liked the hot
stuff; another came in late, had a bowl (that had been set aside) cold,
no extra heat.  He liked it so much he hunted down the pot (still had
some warm chili in it) and had another bowl full, also without extra
heat.  No negative comments, even about the brown rice & whole wheat
corn muffins.  The rice cooker piqued curiosity tho.  The seminary is
sponsoring a chhili cook off in about a month; Steve will pick up an
entry form tomorrow.  Also found out that the church has a chhili cook
off on Super Bowl Sunday; from the feed back we got last night, mine
would be in serious contention for the top prize.

I'm glad there's no arthritis; I'm full of it.  Probably all the time up
and down the steps at the ball park the last few years helped
strenghthen the ligaments.  The pain pills will help--don't be too quick
to stop using them as more than just the knee area needs help
recouperating.
