I know, I've got relatives in central NJ.  I can remember a fair amount
of green space but I also remember seeing a lot of it fill up with
houses,  We went thru part of NJ last year, stopping in Edison so Steve
could set up a new computer system for my aunt.  I tried pork roll for
breakfast--nothing extra ordinary.  Steve had a bite of it and described
it as a cross between spam and canadian bacon.

Miss America moved out of Atlantic City a few years ago.  She's now in
Las Vegas; I think around February.  Cape May is also the other end of a
car ferry service out of Lewes, Delaware.  i've ridden it a couple of
times.

We've lived in a lot of big places over the years; the biggest one was
the reunited city of Berlin (3.5 million in 1990).  For having a
population that size, a lot of the city was dedicated to green space for
parks, lakes, etc.  Made us feel that the cty wasn't as big as it really
was.

Remember the old ad for Pace Picante where the one old geezer told his
buddies that Brand X was made in New Jersey and they all react with "New
Jersey???????????????" ?  There's probably folks who would think the
same about clam chowder. (G)
