-> Figures!  We got to go up on the Golan Heights which were probably

the rare -> times on the trip that we had a lot of rain but we were on
the bus then. -> By the time we got off the bus again in Caesarea
Phillipi, it was just -> drizzle.  That was the day we had the fish for
lunch.

 Beirut, and Jerusalem, and Bethlehem. HN> from there we went on to
 Egypt then back to HN> Rome and home.

We based out of Jerusalem for several days.  One evening we went over to
Bethlehem (now under Palestinian control) to the Church of the Nativity,
supper and shopping at an olive wood outlet.  Saw a sign, same coloring
and basic logo as the famous coffee from your area---but this one was
advertising Stars and Bucks coffee.


-> We'll have it again, all too soon. In a few months we will be wishing
-> for some of the cooler weather again.

It was 63 yesterday, and 38 today.

-> I was pretty much a stay at home mom the whole time the girls were
-> growing up.   When we first got to Germany, I worked part time but was

Yes, we agreed that it would be better if I was a stay at home mom.
Overall, it worked out quite well.

->  HN> but mostly water. Oh and tea and
->  HN> coffee!

-> As long as you stay hydrated, that's the main idea. Our bus had a small
-> cooler that the driver and guide kept stocked with water. It was very
-> much appreciated most days.

 HN> I'll bet it was!

Some of those places on warm days got us quite thirsty. I didn't notice
soda machines all over the place like you do in the States.
