That does put a slightly different complexion on things...  Coming from
Asia, you might be bringing another more virile strain of H1N1, too. ;/

Perhaps it was a computer glitch... or an overtired resident...  or just
the luck of the draw...  sometimes I really do wonder what who is
thinking when, when I've been dealing with hospitals, to say nothing of
health care agencies...

Quite agreed there.  And the humanity of some of the pencilpushers is in
doubt in my mind, often as not...  :(

Apparently your internal balancing is working as it should...?  And the
docs were wise enough (for a change) to let it do its work.

Some of the older docs have caught on, some of the younger ones (fresh
out of school) have actually been taught to listen to their patients,
and not be too generalizing in their approaches.  I have a great deal
more appreciation for both classes of doc, and those are the ones I look
for, both to care for me, and to care for those for whom I have some
responsibility.  I do have a Primary doc now that really does listen to
me, even when he's not sure I AM an exception...  ;)
