Nope both subs (one before Spring Break, and one the day after) 
were hand picked by Anne, and they know the kids
as well....and that's why Anne got the detailed
notes, and was able to address the misbehaviors
when she returned. The kids do love her, and they
still give HER a tough time. She's got a tough bunch
of kids who range from very gifted but with no social
skills whatever to Autistic, and ADHD to such an extreme
that it's tough to hold a conversation with the kid! I don't
know how she does it myself....I'd be a wreck in a week!!

Not likely! Hopefully today she'll be able to make 
the appointment for the shot of cortisone in the 
back.

Anne and her sisters and brother are all
trying to be very hopeful, and optimistic.
I'm more realistic with Cancer.

Actually it seems like the game is ok
and my knee seems to do alright when
I am moving around...but it's tough 
to sleep at night because that's when
it decides to really start throbbing!

-> That was 26 years ago; I don't remember.  I do know we stopped on the
-> way up in Castroville to buy a box of oranges (split with the other
-> couple we went with).  They were some of the best tasting oranges I'd
-> had until then.  We saw signs for the Artichoke Festival, and in Gilroy,
-> the Garlic Festival, but would be moving out of CA before either one
-> took place that year.
-> 
Could be 101, or even the coastal highway (1), the 
coastal highway is slower, more scenic, but does not 
go through Gilroy (101 does).
