Probably true of me and Whole Foods Market too. I get the organic stuff
there that most of the other stores don't carry, plus restocking of bulk
supplies. I know I'll need to get rice on our next trip down there; I
usually buy regular brown, brown basmati and Lundberg blend.

That's sad--why the big name manufacturers have to put corn syrup in
bread crumbs is ridiculous. I know, make the bread first, then the
crumbs and corn syrup is a cheap way to feed the yeasties. Still, tho,
there's got to be better alternatives.

Ours runs from 8 to noon. I'm not a morning person so if we get over
there by 10ish, I'm doing well. But, better to get there at that time
than 12:30. (G)

True, altho the other plants are doing well but they are well
established in the beds. I don't knowwhat it is but one is creeping
over onto the sidewalk. It wasn't bad last year but this year is taking
more out of the walk. The roses and azaleas are really pretty but one
of the hostas is trying to take over one of the beds.

I've never tried growing them; when I was a kid, we'd find the wild
stawberries in parts of the yard every spring. They were small but
really intense in flavor.

The humidity is the killer there. It's unseasonably warm here (low 90s)
but supposed to only go to the mid 80s tomorrow and low 70s on Sunday.
Little to no humidity but it still is too hot when it gets to 90+.

Your mom may have had a few graters when she moved in with your sister
but.........................hopefully they are still there.

I like my steak done medium; I don't want it talking back to me when I
cut into it. We've really cut back over the years on the amount of red
meat we do eat. There are times when we'll go on an extended time of
eating it but generally drop back to the poultry before long. Even the
extended times are usually less than a week, actually. A lot of times
if we go to a steak house, I'll take half of mine home.
