Hi Ruth,

Exactly...

> remapping) if I'm reading you right.

Yes, my brain will hopefully do this. It should. There is some damage that
can't be changed (so far at least), in my right leg. For that, if we need to,
we'll use appliances. But I think if I work at it, I can force the issue
(g)... seriously, when my right leg won't do some of the exercises, I have to
put it where I want it, with my hand.. then once I feel where it's supposed to
go, I can do the exercise. Kind of weird feeling but it works (g).

Yes, very true.

>> it's not that.. it's too easy. I told her, no, I don't want to just

Heh that's true (g).. though once I'm in the kitchen, I'm ok. :)

Ouch that does sound so so painful.. It must have been the pits when it
happened.

Now a representative from the company that Ron works for, is also getting
involved. She's the company's advocate so to speak.. she handles any problems
the employees and their families may have with Aetna.. She called me today to
let me know she's working on them, and we should have an answer very soon.
Hopefully a good answer (g).

>> her... she'd hand them off to me in a way that was sneaky (G). She

Yes, people love that (grin).. In KY, I used to send in pumpkin bread, peanut
butter cookies, and raisin bread.

==Pumpkin bread==
10" tube pan
Preheat oven to 350F

1 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs
2 cups canned pumpkin, or fresh cooked pumpkin. 3 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup roughly chopped raisins

Beat the eggs and the oil until well mixed in a large bowl. Beat in the sugar.
Stir in the pumpkin. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cinnamon, cloves,
nutmeg and baking powder, and salt. Mix well until combined.

Add the flour mixture to the pumpkin, sugar and oil mixture all at once, and
beat slightly to combine all ingredients (use a wooden spoon, not a mixer for
this). Stir in the walnuts and raisins. Grease and flour a large 10"
tube pan with removable rim. Pour the batter into the pan and bake at 350F for
1 hour and 15-20 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean.

Take care,
Janis
