Yes, we've gone to the other Lowe's a fair amount too.  Not as much as
when we first moved in--it seemed there were a lot of little things that
previous tenants ignored that we fixed.  Figured if we're going to be
living here several years, let's take care of some of the little
problems before they become big ones.

Those are nice finds.  Did you get some to make clam sauce?  I think we
would have just steamed them & eaten them that way.  We used to do that
from time to time in Swansboro.

We'll pick some and take it fresh.  We have a dehyrator but I found the
best way to dry rosemary is to air dry it.  I made a drawstring bag out
of an old pillow case type fabric, put the rosemary in that, head end
down and hung it in an out of the way place for several weeks.  The bag
caught the pieces that fell off the stalk as it dried. After it was all
dry, I "destalked" it while they were still in the bag.  Pulled the
stalks out and poured the dry needles into a jar.  Thi past winter we
did the same as we had the rest of the year when we wanted some--just
went outside & clipped it.  Fresh is so much better than dry if you can
get it.
