Oh sure! But no flocks here. Scaling down my cookery. ike just made a red-co
oked pork roast, but used a smaller 1.25 lb portion (bone in).

Recipe not worth MM'ing as too simple: 6oz hosin sauce, 3 TB brown sweet
datu puti vinegar (apple vinegar would sub nicely), 1 TB mirin, 1 TS added 5
spice to this one but ginger would also work well or aniseed. Throw in
crockpot on low about 8 hours turning when you think of it. The mirin is to
tenderize (along with the vinegar). Once meat is falling off the bones, it's
ready. If any want it in MM, quote it back to me and will do!

True! Our one muslim fellow in the Sasebo apartment complex didnt eat with
us often, but he did at times. Same for the jewish folks. In a flip you'd
see mostly in a military complex, _they_ often ate together! The moind
boggles til you relaize the food traditions were often the same and they
shopped at the same butchers.

Hehehe He does occasionally do an escape artist trick to the store.

Ah, understood! Too bad you don't have more storage room. I recall in one
apartment, my extra pantry was cans under the bed <g>. I didnt have any
other place for them.

Oh works for me! The local asian grocery is locally grown mostly too, and
closer than our farmers market. I'll be checking the farmers market before
long though to see what's starting to show up there.
