That's one of our favorite places to eat. :)  And well vouched for by
persons well-qualified to vouch.  :)

Dim Sum...  that's the correct term for all of those tasty morsels. :)

That sounds like the Taro Dumplings.  Both the crust and the next layer
are mashed taro, deep-fried to make that crust...  And, agreed, they are
very good.  ;)

Some places only give two per plate.  At Cantonese House it depends on
what the item is.  A number of them are 4 to the basker/plate; many have
3, and there are a few items that only have 2, including one of our
favorites, which is comprised of sticky rice with a filling of mixed
meats, seafood and vegetables steamed in a large dark green leaf.  We
decided that the ideal number of people to have Dim Sum with is 3... or
plan to take home lots of leftovers.  ;)

We haven't had anything there yet we didn't like well enough to have
again... of course there have been a few things we haven't tried yet...
a very few... :)

For any one in (or visiting near) the Rochester area, Cantonese House is
truly the best for Dim Sum in the area.  When you go, you'll notice one
of our basic tests for authenticity/goodness... practically 100% of the
clientele is Asian... (g)  And it's where the proprietors of what was
(until they retired for good) our favorite Chinese and then Korean/
Japanese (always authentic, they got the best cooks) restaurant go for
special occasions... we ran into them there.

They often DO have them, there.  Next time you go, ask for them, they
might just not have them on the cart...
