We have birds galore now.  Most are now past nesting as it's stretching fast
to summer in my area.  Temps now fairly high for the season at mid-90's (F
obviously) expected.  It is rare here though to see 110F, and only
occasionally will it hit 105F, at least in comparison to Sasebo.  

The difference is it has a longer hot season here.  We've had to turn on the
AC.  Not as much for us (but even we would at 95F) but because Cash seems to
not be able to handle heat very well.  Gets asthma-seeming problems if we let
the house get over ?88? ?90?  (Cash is my dog).

I've peeked.  Yup, have'em to but the American version.  Nice yellow fellows.
 They are partial to the tree that stretches over my backyard from the
neighbors.  A huge hickory tree.

Well it wil get hot for a long time here, but not as hot as Sasebo!
