====================================================================
Hi Ruth,

Just so you know, I found Marc's problem with his mail.. things should be
better now we hope. To make a long story short, he'd changed how he was polling
my system and that caused some problems because his mail wasn't where he was
looking for it.. I expect you will or should have gotten quite a large dump of
mail however since my system kept it all for him here "waiting" for him to pick
it up (grin).

Any semolina based pasta will take 7-9 minutes, true.. even the half-semolina
half whole wheat will take 9-11, depending on the firmness you like.. we eat
all of our pasta al dente, whether we eat whole wheat, half-wholewheat
(normal), or semolina or "ronzoni" haha..a class in itself (vbg).. I guess that
would be like Muellers as oppossed to Semolina.. there are some _good_ semolina
macaroni brands out there that are much better than others so that is why I
differentiate them from Muellers :) And yes, fresh pasta cooks very very
fast.. 2-3 minutes generally..I love buying semolina flour and making fresh
ravioli with that! what flavor! I'm still hunting for a large ravioli
attachment for my macaroni machine, but I've only seen it in a catalog once
years ago, and then never again.. This made large 2 inch raviolis not the small
soup type raviolis, and you simply poured all the ingredients in the hopper and
cranked the raviolis out. I have the exact machine already for the soup size
ones.. as I said I saw the machine for the 2" one in a catalog ONCE! I swear :)
:) And haven't been able to find it since :) Ah well.. one of these days :)

>> it's like a soup, but I think I mentioned it to you before... my kids

haha.. yes indeed.. Made me laugh then as well :)

Very neat :) And yest good timing no doubt..

>> Yes, I ordered it online... I have a catalog from them now, though (I

Same here.. I'd much rather get a sense of what my daughter thinks the boys
want ... or go from a list from them .. though once in a while Ron and I will
see something that we figure the boys just have to have, but not really that
often (g).

That should be nice for you - a nice break in the traveling :)
>> Sorry I lost this message in the "pile" for a bit :)

It sure was haha... well, took me a while to find the problem, but after
examining my logs (and my system has 7 logs for one daemon and 2 logs for
another daemon) I was able to determine the problem.. just took some time.
Things should be back on track now. And as I said, you should be inundated
with a large backlog of a week's mail (sadly enough :() - but at least the
mail wasn't "lost".

Take care,
Janis
