You really did it up good!  Did your husband turn into a pretty decent
cook over the time you were off your feet?  Even more important--did he
learn to clean up after his cooking? (G)

Could be; I did up my knee in 1972, wrists in 92 (reconstructions in 93
& 94) and elbow in 01. Our girls learned some cooking techniques
fast--and they learned that you don't cook macaroni & cheese in the
microwave for 20 minutes. (G)

It was a way to get that last dollar out of the tourist.  As you said,
most major grocery store chains can get fresh pineapple quickly.  You've
no idea when the airport stuff is picked & packaged and it is not stored
in ideal conditions.

That's nice. Around here, Publix is the one that advertises heavily on
the freshness of their produce.
