Hi Ruth!

Now that critter must be scarey to come across.. at least they do look
mean-spirited (g).

Lol, yes :)

You're probably right.. :)
>> That's neat :) That bear toy must have been a favorite of Rachel's
>> (grin)...
> I think so. (G) We named the original one "Blackie" (how original) so in
You mean like the stray cat someone dropped off at our house years ago, that I
named "kitty"? :) Sometimes you just can't be original with names haha
> turn, the one she "built", she named "Schwartz" (German for black).
Too much :)

Ah :) That would probably be a good idea :)

> I don't know, I grew up seeing lots of deer, etc in our yard. We knew
We had deer, but mostly rabbits :) Don't remember any bears where I grew up at
least though there were probably some around out further in the country.. we
lived right in the village of Warwick.

I love venison.. I don't like when "deer season" is upon us though, and you
have to watch for jumpers on the road.. Ron is really good at spotting them..
he sees them well before I even have a hint that there's one about.

Probably didn't because I was so po'd at my hands .. :)

I couldn't find any replacement for the guy I had so I figured, oh well. Not
for me (g).

I use my dutch ovens for that stuff.. the cast-iron dutch oven is the best :)
Love to cook things slowly in that.
>> > One of my favorite books for Hawaiian cooking; it's in my

>> Great to know.. I had no way to know that.. sometimes it seems at

Lol, very true :)
>>> Oven Kalua Pork
>>> Yield: 6 Servings

>> Really? Ok.. Guess we HAVE to do that one!!!!!! Think it's

hahahaha think you're right about that one.. well, we'll see.. I did get the
ravioli machine I ordered from Villaware, and darn it, it looks exactly like
the Atlas Raviolissimo attachment I have.. in other words, still going to make
smaller soup type raviolis.. what a beat.. :( They are nice for soup, etc.,
but aggravating when what you want is a normal sized ravioli :) :)
>>> Chicken Long Rice
>> > A bit of soy sauce sprinkled on it improves the taste, IMO.
>> I'll take your word for it.. you been there and done that.. (laugh)
> It's rather bland otherwise, even with the ginger.
Ok, I can understand that.. :)

>> Makes sense..

I can imagine.. I know how much time goes into the preparation for a clam bake,
I expect for a luah it's much moreso :)
>> > Good but laulau has also come to mean just the steamed greens.
>> Ok, sounds good (grin)
> That's easier to handle, again, with the amount of food they do.
Yes, makes sense as well.
>> hehe.. found out the Windsor Farmers Market is about 3 houses down the

>> the Village Square is on Main.. (of course)..
> OK, it will be fun to check out.
I was very disappointed this weekend.. we went to it, and this year they had no
fresh vegatables or fruit.. just some canned goods, and some pottery, and
quited things, that sort of thing.. Maybe that had to do with the problems
people had with their gardens this spring? Ron says looking around, he can't
believe how great my garden looks compared to most in the village... I think
he's rather prejudiced (grin)

That sounds fine :)
Take care,
