I know what you mean.. I have a bazillion notes to myself here and there it
seems.  I think it was easier when I was younger :)

Ah..like my daughter and her boys... and she loves Polenta, but can't tolerate
it. She also gets very bad migraines.

Funny though, I don't get them (I get pre-vertigo headaches though) but Ron
does.. but corn is not one of his triggers.. You'd think it would bother him,
but it doesn't.  Chocolate is his big one.. and wine (which he hasn't had in
years).

I think since most of my sewing tools, etc. are in the athena cabinet, I can
just let it go.. If I had things in other cupboards etc., then I might do so :)

I've always loved big pantries..

Ours is constructed differently.. the center island is constructed of two
full-size cabinets across back to back.. so yes, you can only open each cabinet
from one side, but on the other side there's another cabinet (g). Originally,
Ron was going to build something like what Rachel has, then he decided to do it
this way, since it would make more sense given the number of cabinets I wanted
:)  I wanted sepate areas for separate things.. and a lot of drawers and bins
(for potatoes, onions, etc.)

Still have to do that measurement.. we had a bad weather evening last night..
tornado warnings :(  We lost power for 24 hours until NSGE got things going
again..

We think we're going to buy some pegboard for the kitchen "top" walls and put
wainscotting that we've already purchased on the bottom..
