I can see the chicken thing, especially as that's the
default description of white meats. A not-overcooked
frog leg has a mild flavor and a chicken-drumsticky
somewhat tendinous texture, which gives way to a
fishlike fiber when overcooked. Frog body is quite a
bit fishier, no surprise, as there's some fat there.

 Not muddy tasting...although

I'd bet that muddy environments would cause
muddy-tasting frogs.

Pretty much to be expected. Don't be discouraged.

You have to take a little time for yourself now
and then. I'm sure there are local friends who
would be willing to fill in periodically, and
even the social worker might be able to suggest
a way for you to have just that little breathing
space that you'll need once in a while.

 HN> which has lots of recipes categorized by
 HN> symptoms and such...which is very helpful

Good for them. Back in the dark ages, cancer
patients and their families were largely left
on their own, and the lack of wide linkages such
as offered now by the Internet made it difficult
for whatever info there was to get disseminated.
Now it sounds as though life is better, or easier,
or at least they're not trying to make you tough
it out without help.

      Title: Mexican Fruit (Wedding) Cake
 Categories: Cakes
      Yield: 12 Servings

------------------------------------CAKE------------------------------------
      1    20-oz  can undrained crushed
           Pineapple
  1 1/2 c  Sugar
      2 c  Plain flour
    1/2 ts Salt
      2 ts Baking soda
      1 c  Crushed pecans or walnuts
      2    Eggs

----------------------------------FROSTING----------------------------------
      1    8-oz  pkg. Cream cheese at
           Room temp.
      1    Stick Margerine at room temp
      2 c  Powdered sugar
      1 ts Vanilla

  CAKE: Beat eggs, add sugar. Add pineapple then salt, baking soda and flour.
  Add nuts.  Bake in 9X13 pan at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 min.

  FROSTING Beat margerine and cream cheese until light. Whip in powdered
  sugar, then vanilla. Frost and Refridgerate.
