We don't have Gini, unfortunately; I still figure Sprite
or any of the sparkling lemon and/or lime things would
substitute.

That makes it just as false.

This would be more accurate, though the question arises
how many order the 64-ozer and how many among those drink
it up in one sitting.

That jibes with my recollection.

But the bottles I saw on vac were 12, 33.8, and 67.6.
The 12s were the only ones marketed as single-serving.

Problem I have with these compilations is that they
take worst cases and paint them as regular. It's the
same kind of mindset that leads a municipality to
dump 8 million gallons of reservoir water just because
some lowlife human peed into it. Or as if one took the
Geiger readings for Chernobyl and represented them as
typical for Ukraine.

2 oz Canadian whisky
1 oz lemon juice
2 ts maple syrup or to taste
1 ds bitters

Shake well with ice; strain and serve on the rocks
or straight.
