It's a good thing that the Sav-A-Lot semi-warehouse store across the street
from me carries the Mexican Co' Cola and has for several years -- as I refuse
to do business with China^H^H^H^H^H Wal-Mart ... for anything. I stocked it
when I was having trouble with my blood sugar and diabetes meds. If I felt a
low sugar episode coming on I'd uncap one of the glass bottles and drink the
Coke in there. Real sugar, no HFCS.

My sugar is "well-regulated" now. So, I give a bottle now and then to visitors
who want a Co' Cola. They are (those tasting the Mexican version for the first
time) amazed at how good and how much like the Coke of their childhood memories
it is.  Bv)=

When the current stock is depleted I'll not buy any more ... since I don't
drink it myself. And Coke Zero is as close to "real" Coke as I can get in an
artificially sweetened cola.

      Title: Coca Cola Chicken
 Categories: Five, Beverages, Poultry
      Yield: 6 servings
 
  3 1/2 lb Chicken; cut up
    3/4 c  Coca Cola
      1 c  Catsup
 
  Place cut up chicken in an UNgreased skillet. Mix 3/4 cup of
  COKE and 1 cup of Heinz catsup together and pour over the
  chicken. Bring to a boil. Turn the burner down, cover, and
  simmer for 15 minutes. Uncover and cook 1 hour or until
  tender.
  
  This tastes just like BBQ chicken. DO NOT SALT!!!
