-> We found out the hard way about the Calphalon. It was while the girls

-> wanted to make tapioca. She used the same pot as he had; when it cooled,
-> she dished some up for us. That's when we found out that the pot
-> absorbed some of the hot sauce. I confirmed it when I made sauce and
-> meat balls several times after Steve made his hot sauce. He didn't
-> notice the extra heat to the spaghetti sauce as he usually spices his up
-> a bit. I thought it was a fluke the first time; after it happened other
-> times, I amentioned it to Steve. Spaghetti sauce with a bit of heat. Not
-> bad, just a different taste than what I was expecting.

I have not made any this year..and
not likely to get to it now. Did get
to see my "pepper guy" at the Olympia
Farmer's market once this summer though.
