That's sort of what happened with Spot ... except she had what the Vet
described as a form of "Kitty Aids" in that he immune systems were shutting
down - which I later learned is a manifestation of feline leukemia. After the
doc said "We can do this, and this, and that, then we can try ... " and I could
tell he was trying to let me down slowly I asked, "What are the chances?"

While he was trying to form a diplomatic answer poor Spot gave out with a
whimpery, moany, meow and I knew it was time. But, knowing didn't make it any
easier.

I am sure you probably asked the Vet about the possibility of pumping Bizzy's
bilges to relieve the blockage. Or the doc had told you already that there
"isn't much that can be done".

All of my feline companions have been just cats who adopted me. Spot was
actually my room mate's cat - until I moved into the house ... then she didn't
want to have anything much to do with Steve. And Quincy lived at my Mother's
place and was her cat ... unless I was around. One day I went to get in the car
for the trip home and found Q waiting for me. I set him in the front porch and
he beat me back to the car. So, that was that. Big 'ol gray tom cat.

I better move along or I will begin to get maudlin.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Pyi-Gyi Nga Kazun Ywet (Squid & Dandelion Salad
 Categories: Oriental, Seafood, Greens, Chilies, Citrus
      Yield: 4 servings

      1 ts Dried hot red chile flakes
      1 tb Fresh lemon juice
      2 ts Soy sauce
      1 ts Brown sugar
      2 ts Oil
      1 cl Garlic; chopped fine
      1 lb Fresh squid; dressed, cut
           - in 1/2" round slices
    1/4 lb Dandelion greens; green
           - leaves only, halved

  Watercress and Swiss chard are good substitutes for
  dandelion since they all have a slightly bitter but
  appealing taste.

  Mix the chili flakes, lemon juice, soy sauce, and
  sugar together.  Let stand for 15 minutes.

  Heat the oil in a wok or skillet and over moderate
  heat fry the garlic for 1 minute.  Add the squid
  slices and stir fry for 2 minutes.  Add the
  chili/lemon mixture and continue to fry.

  Add the dandelion greens and cook for 2 minutes more.
  Do not overcook since it toughens the squid.

  Serve warm with other dishes.
