As one of the main exports from the Northern Territory is live cattle
shipped to Indonesia and Philippines, double deck, 3 trailer road
trains deliver them to Darwin.  They are best not tail-gated.  And
then there are the ships themselves...  In Fremantle Harbour in WA the
ships used to take live sheep to the Middle East can be smelled from
over a kilometre away.  I should think that being confined on such a
ship for weeks at a time would destroy the sense of smell completely.

Today, barbecued Argentinian style marinated beef with barbecued corn.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: MOROCCAN RUB LAMB CHOPS
 Categories: Mains, Lamb, Morocco, Africa-n
      Yield: 4 servings
 
     12    Lamb loin chops
      1 tb EVOO
      1 tb Cumin, ground
      2 ts Turmeric, ground
      1 ts Paprika- sweet
      1 ts Coriander seeds
      1 ts Garlic salt
    1/2 ts Chillies- dried flakes
      1    Lemons; wedges
 
  Preheat grill pan to high. Brush chops with a little olive oil. Mix
  dry spices in a small container, cover & shake to combine. Rub spice
  blend into the chops on both sides, & grill 7 to 8 minutes, turning
  once, for medium-rare; 10 to 12 minutes for medium to medium-well.
  Serve with wedges of lemon.
  
  Serve with GARLIC CHICKPEAS & GREENS.
