Hi Ruth,

Yes, I have fun doing projects like that. I think Deborah wore the
jumper too, then it was passed on to some other lucky little girl. A lot
of times when I get something with a bit of fabric, I'll save it (the
fabric) and use it in something else. One stand at the farmer's market
sells jams & jellies with a circle of fabric on top of the lid, held
down by the screw band. I've saved those circles; they're a good yo-yo
size. (G)

-> Stopped work on the skirt to do a job for someone and will move on to

No fun. Crazy weather getting to you? It was spring yesterday & today,
may be so tomorrow, but late winter is returning for the week end. No
snow, we had that on Sunday.

I'm always up & down a lot when I'm working on a sewing project. Either
pressing or checking out something else my mind is thinking about or
whatever. (G)

Good! I got my DWR quilt backing & batting trimmed to the edge of the
quilt; now I can bind it, hopefully before our 40th anniversary.

Yes, that's the breaks. There are a lot of things going on down in
Raleigh we don't go to either, mostly because of studying, time or
money.

My mom was a NJ (small) city kid. Her dad was an investment banker on
Wall Street, very white collar. Dad grew up in North Tonawanda, NY; his
dad was a lumber yeard worker, very blue collar. I think my mom's mom
was a bit more of a cook than my dad's mom but my mom turned into a very
plain cook when she married Dad.
