No fun without someone, especially a special someone to do it with. BTW,
the bbq place that's been under construction the past couple of years is
doing a give away tonight of ribs, sliders & (forget the 3rd thing).
We're going up to see what they have to offer; I guess it's a last
chance to tweak the menu before an official opening. Talked to one young
man who works there earlier today; he said hours are 4-9 for now--I
would guess until they get all the bugs worked out, then they'll be open
longer. Nothing was posted for hours; we just happened to meet him as we
were leaving (had thought about trying them for lunch).

I guess there would be some touristy things in Scottsdale; I never
thought of there being much along that line there. Then too, I lived in
AZ for 8 years and never heard anything especially attractive about
Scottsdale as a tourist location. Probably some good, but pricy
restaurants out there. (G) Steve was thinking about the branch campus of
Golden Gate Seminary in Scottsdale before he decided to make
Southeastern his first choice.

I watched a bit of basketball over at a friend's house yesterday. Steve
did all he could to avoid watching any. (G) A couple from church hosted
a March Madness get together; 3 ACC teams were in the tournament, now
down to 2 because Duke lost. Our contributions to the munchies were a
box of Triscuit garlic crackers, a bag of baby carrots, a container of
Lowes brand french onion dip and a home made spread made from oil packed
sun dried tomatoes, cream cheese, butter, Parmesan (actually, I used a
bit of Romano & Gouda cheeses as well) cheese, some thyme, oregano and
basil. It went quite well with the crackers.
