I keep it around to keep the asthma under control.

That was sweet of him, consideringg the number of people he did it for.
I can see, if this is typical, why you would be missing him. We're down
to the box of (9) truffles now of the stash Steve got. The pantry is
slowly emptying out of things like that.

Good news; the elbow has to twist into so many different positions that
the more range of motion it gets back, the better. I have almost full
ROM on mine, something the therapist said a lot of people don't get. Saw
my primary care doctor this week; she put in a consult to have the wrist
looked at. Between the break & 2 surgeries on it plus the elbow break,
surgery & nerve damage, she wants to see if there's anything else going
on in there. I'm going to be using my rotary cutter quite a bit in the
next few weeks so I want the wrist to be well checked out, see if
anything can be done for it.

I can see that; if my dad goes first, there's no way my mom could live
by herself. She's a danger in the kitchen but Dad is there most of the
time to keep half an eye on her (if he doesn't do the job to begin
with). They used to write a weekly letter but became more sporadic the
last couple of years; since January I think they've written once. We
will Skype chat every so often but we're going to do an "eyes on" trip,
probably in June to check things out. Last time we were there, I
replaced some dull, worn out knives, peelers and such like with new,
sharp ones; they insisted on keeping the old ones on hand so I suspect
they're the ones getting used. Also need to see if they've kept up on
the dishwasher maintainence and done anything more toward getting a ramp
put in.
