Since it's two of us plus the once a month for Life Group (and other
occaisions as arise), I do cook regularly. Tonight's supper was a
ratatoulle over wild rice and grilled chicken. We'd marinaded the
chicken in a garlic and oil (not sure what all else & too tired to grab
the bottle) sauce for about 30 hours. Steve said he'd go for the
ratatoulle again; it was a lot of fuss but tasted good.

OOPS! We found out the hard way that Calphalon cookware absorbs a bit of
whatever's cooked in it. Steve made a batch of psuedo-Malinda's hot
sauce, thought he had the pot cleaned up well. Rachel used it the next
day to make tapioca--found out no matter how clean the pot appears,
there's still a bit absorbed by the metal. I usually cooked marinara
sauce in it after Steve made the sauce; he adds crushed red pepper to
his so hadn't noticed the heat. That pot and several others from the set
are no longer in our possesion as we replaced them about a year ago with
stainless steel.

Looks ineresting; I guess you've not tried it since the bottom line said
"archives", not "kitchen".
