What is the size of your metro area? Or are you part of the Raleigh metro area?
I go 15 or so miles across town to go to the Meijer Super Centre ... nearly as
far as from WF to Raleigh. Of course distance may depend on where in WF you are
and where in Raleigh your destination is.

According to the 2010 census figures the Hispanic population for that little
town is nearly 9%. Caucasians make up about 50%, African-American 39%, Native
American 1% and the rest listed as "other". So a couple or three Latino markets
is not too surprising. In Springfield (where I live) the Latino/Asian
population makes up about 5% of the total. And in Bloomington-Normal - the area
I was citing as having all that neat stuff - the Latino/Asian figure is
approaching 10%.

Would that I could. We don't have open primaries here. I consider myself an
independent/centrist. The liberals I know consider me a reactionary
right-winger and the adherents of the elefink party think I am a flaming
socialist. So, as long as I keep both extremes mad at me I figure I am steering
the proper course.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Suji Ka Halwa (Moderate Semolina Pudding)
 Categories: Asian, Desserts, Nuts, Dairy, Puddings
      Yield: 2 Servings
 
    1/2 c  Semolina (suji)
    1/4 c  Sugar; to taste
      3 tb Ghee
    1/2 c  Milk
    1/2 c  Water
    1/4 ts Cardamom powder
      2 tb Raisins
      2 tb Almonds; sliced
      2 tb Cashew nuts
 
  Heat ghee in a pan. Add suji, raisins and cardamom powder
  and fry until it is lightly golden brown in color.
  
  Constantly stir it to ensure even browning. Add sugar and
  half of both raisin, and cashew. Heat few more minutes in
  low-medium heat.
  
  Add water and milk. Mix well and heat until you get desired
  consistency. (like watery dough or thick pudding)
  
  Garnish suji ka halwa with raisin and cashew nuts and serve
  hot.
  
  This is a dessert recipe, usually served in breakfast.
