Ted is curmudging along according to G's eldest daughter - from whom I get my
information. I have made repeated calls and talked to Georgia's answer-bot
numerous times with nary a returned call. Chris says her mom is "holding her
own" -- whatever that means. I am going to have to make a trip to Pig Pickin'
City for a couple reasons - mainly to check up on my only sister. And to visit
Beardstown's new (and only) Taco Truck.

Since I have not even powered up my Glass Teat for the past nine months I had
to Google it. Seems that it's an HBO thing in the vein of the Sopranos (which I
also gave a miss). "Seven noble families fight for control of the mythical land
of Westeros." Sort of like the Sopranos fighting over the storied land of New

One of my first good works (should I be gifted with even a million pazuzas)
will be to buy Georgia an new crib, laid out to take her problems into
consideration, to replace the (now getting decrepit) homestead on Adams St.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Pig Pickin' Sauce
 Categories: Bbq, Sauces, Chilies
      Yield: 1 Cup

      1 c  (235 ml) cider vinegar 
      1 tb (15 ml) brown sugar 
      1 ts (5 ml) salt; to taste 
    1/2 ts (3 ml) ground cayenne; or
           - more to taste
    1/2 ts (3 ml) ground black pepper;
           - more to taste

  Mix together and use to sauce pulled pork.

  Please note that this is not a sweet BBQ sauce at all. If
  you are looking for a "Memphis" or "Kansas City" style
  sauce, with tomatoes and molasses or brown sugar, please
  look elsewhere or you will be disappointed. Eastern North
  Carolina is where you would find the original inspiration
  for this. Traditionally, a whole hog is cooked and this
  style of sauce is used both for the mop and on the side. I
  really like this stuff, it's a nice change from sweet
  sauces and makes a dynamite mop, as well. Keeps in a
  covered container in the fridge almost indefinitely.
