Hi Nancy,

Now that supper is over, clean up done, Jeopardy watched and some sewing
taken care of, I can get back to Fido.

True, we might find something that fits the budget and is set up exactly
the way I want. A 4 bedroom place would give Steve a study, me a sewing
room and both a master & guest bedrooms. The kitchen would have a lot of
storage, a gas stove and everything laid out in a workable set up, with
a good amount of counter space. I can dream, but we'll see what reality
brings.

The ability to make changes to housing has always been the one sticking
point I had with military housing. Some people did paint the walls but
we didn't bother as they would have had to be repainted back to the
original white before we could clear quarters. We didn't hang up a whole
lot of stuff so we didn't have a lot of holes to patch--probably hung
the most in AZ. We've hung a fair amount of things here but a lot of our
wall space is covered by book shelves so we're limited on hang ups. We
did hang a pot rack in the kitchen to give us more storage space. Hung
it above the butler (moveable island) so we wouldn't clonk our heads on
it all the time (still do, from time to time).
