We got a George Foreman grill with multiple plates last year on sale. It
stays out on either a kitchen counter top or freezer for lack of room or
frequent use. It doesn't heat up the kitchen that much and is easy to
clean up after once the plates cool off. Most years we use the smoker as
well but with Steve's back brace and restrictions imposed by it, we've
not yet since the weather warmed up.

OOPS! We've got blinds on our windows, came with the house (rental) so
we've not added drapes or curtains except in the bedroom. Steve keeps
the blinds in the computer room shut to cut glare. The only tv is in the
living room; by the time we turn it on in the evening, there's no glare
from the window across the room.

 ml> no zones in this double-wide... my computer room has its own window AC
 ml> unit and there are fans in strategic places throughout the location...

We've no zones either but try to keep heating & cooling at reasonable
levels. Easier on the budget that way too. (G)

 ml> yup! i've fussed at dad a few times for switching from AUTO on the
