Funny thing is I hate living in the sticks.. but darn it I keep finding myself
in that environment. Ha :)  I mean I thought living in Windsor was the pits ...
until we moved here .. Oh well.. "the city" (ouch) is just 10 minutes away
thank goodness ... and I use "the city" loosely here given what I grew up
with.. :) Anyway, enjoy the fact that the city is there for you. :)  You can
always find a farm with eggs, I'd bet.

Lol.. I don't think so.. too many variables there for sure.. I laugh at the
thought since the oldest is going off to college in Aug/Sept.. and #2 looks
like he's 13, but he's only just 10 (height)...and well, then there's the
baby.. he's just little guy just 7.  I think I was right in giving up on the
idea :)

Ah very cool, and so important.  I think about my so allergic daughter.. gluten
is out, but so is corn.. so any corn products have to be removed from the
picture.  Now I know that everyone who has gluten problems are not necessarily
like that,but that's why it's great that you folks talked to them about it
first. I was totally unimpressed with Wegman's non-gluten ronies that are made
with corn corn corn.. won't work here :(

hehe.. Glutino is a company I often buy for me.  I don't have the violent
reactions my daughter does to corn and simple things like cornstarch or the
derivatives of corn that find their way into food... at least I _think_ (G).  I
can't give her any Glutino cookies, or whatever I grab off the shelf. As a
matter of fact the only things starch wise I can keep here for her only are
pure rice products, or rice and tapioca, or rice an arrowroot, you get the
idea.

We buy UDI's bread in the freezer section for me... just more like bread to me
without the grainy texture of Rudi's bread ('nother company).

How cool :) :)  I bet those people who were in need of gluten-free foods were
in heaven :)

It's something that is insane to people who are gluten-intolerant... like my
daughter's EX would make dinner and she would say to him, "there's nothing I
can eat here..".  sad...

Hey, that's really neat :)  I would bet those folks who can't eat "the norm"
are more than happy to not worry :)
