Sometimes it he'ps to go bug them a little bit. That's how I got my current gig
(and the one before it). Mostly it works because you are showing an interest
and taking some initiative. Employers seem to like those qualities even in a
min-wage dead-end burger biggie store. Just don't let 'em talk you into
management. Then you work longer hours with more stress for less money per hour
than you got as an hourly employee. Shortly after I went to work for the Zone I
was offered a management position - which I turned down. I told my District
Manager that if I wanted to be in management I would have remained in the
satellite business. And besides, I had seen how they treat their managers.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Chicken & Spinach Calzone
 Categories: Poultry, Breads, Cheese, Greens
      Yield: 8 servings
 
      4    Chicken breast halves;
           -boned, skinned, in bite
           - size pieces
      3 tb Olive oil
      1 sm Onion; chopped
      2 lg Garlic cloves; minced
     20 oz Spinach; chopped, thawed,
           - well drained
      1 c  Cheddar cheese; grated
    1/2 c  Parmesan cheese; grated
    1/2 c  Olives; chopped
    1/4 c  Pimentos; chopped
      1 lb Frozen bread dough; thawed
           - shaped into an oblong
 
  In a large frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add
  onions; cook for 3 minutes until onions are tender. Add
  garlic and cook for 3 to 5 minutes more.
  
  Add chicken and cook, stirring, about 8 minutes, or until
  chicken is fork tender.
  
  Set aside to cool.
  
  In a large bowl, mix the spinach, cheeses, olives, and
  pimento; fold in the chicken mixture.
  
  Place the dough, on a large greased baking pan. Spread
  chicken mixture over the dough leaving an inch border
  "clean" along the edges.
  
  Preheat the oven to 375øF/190øC.
  
  Roll the long sides toward the center, and fold in the
  ends. Place the roll seem-side down on a baking pan. Bake
  for 1 hour or until brown.
