Think how the semi-driver feels trying to keep track of all those

Probably ought to toss the KIA Soul in there. The Nissan Cube looks like 
it was designed by Andy Warhol on an LSD trip. The Scion reminds me of 
the troop carriers in a Japanese monster (Godzilla) flick - hauling the 
doomed soldiers to their fate. They are all functional, roomy, and do 
what they were designed to do -- make money for the parent company.

I *ALWAYS* "do a Burton" in my replies. Sometimes it's a challenge and 
sometimes the link is subtle. And sometime I manage a double or treble 
"Burton". It adds a layer of interest (and challenge) to the process for 
me.

I like Monte Cristo sarnies made with Texas Toast, and with the 
ingredients listed - and the more usual sliced turkey breast and bacon 
along with the ham and Emmenthaler cheese.

Basically it is just a regular sammich made with French Toast. Remember, 
always, to serve them with plenty of napkins as the fired bread makes 
the fingers greasy.  Bv)=

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: French Toast Strata
 Categories: Breads, Eggs, Cheese
      Yield: 7 servings

     12 c  Bread cubes
      8 oz Cream cheese; cubed
      8 lg Eggs
  2 1/2 c  Milk
      6 tb Butter
    1/4 c  Syrup
 
  Grease a 3 quart rectangular baking dish. Place half
  of the bread cubes in the dish. Top with cream cheese
  cubes and remaining bread cubes. Combine eggs, milk,
  melted butter, and maple syrup in a blender container
  or mixing bowl. Process or beat with a rotary beater
  until well combined.

  Pour egg mixture evenly over the bread and cheese
  cubes. Using a spatula, lightly  press layers down to
  moisten.

  Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 to 24
  hours. Remove plastic wrap from baking dish. Bake,
  uncovered, in a 325oG/163oC oven for 35 to 40 minutes
  or until center appears set and the edges are lightly
  golden. Let stand about 10 minutes before serving.

  Serve with syrup.

  Makes 6 to 8 servings.
