I suppose the potty potty peerer position provides employment
for the poorer population. Working welfare if you will.

One then goes thirsty in the States. There is a strange
dichotomy in the system. One is expected to tip (used to
be a quarter, now it's a buck) for alcohol but not for
soft drinks and juices, which are also available at the bar.
This of course would mean that you continue to go thirsty.

predictions of the soothsayers and was surprised to see the
airlines and their first classes and clubs last so long in the
face of teleconferencing and other automated behaviors.

El Morocco salad dressing
cat: nostalgia, Worcester, marinade, dressing
yield: 1 scant cup

1/4 c fresh lemon juice
1/2 c extra virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves, pressed (or garlic powder to taste)
1 ts sugar
splash  vinegar
1 1/2 ts dried mint leaves

Combine and pour on salad.

Abbie Hoffman, and me - despite being the quintessential
suburban lounge lizard eatery - the food was that good
