I was responding to who's to argue about the family's version... ;)  You
made my point nicely...  :)  Most would consider your mom's version a
non lasagne... but who knows...?  someone might enter the equivalent...

Lots of legitimate ways to vary it...  those look tasty... :)  Spinach
inside layers should cook up pretty nicely, it's just fresh on top of
the casserole that would probably crisp before it wilted... :)

We only got to about 50, but that's pretty warm for this time of year

Ah.  Broccoli can give off a fair bit of liquid as it cooks, true... :)
