I've commented on my mom's lack of culinary skills/taste before. That,
in and of itself is good enough explanation why she didn't keep bacon
grease. Dad's mom used to keep goose grease--when we had cold as kids,
he'd rub our chests with Vicks while telling us how his mom used to do
the same, but with the goose grease. I'll still refer to Vicks as goose
grease from time to time. (G)

One of these days I'll catch it.

On the way by then but still comes 'round to haunt us from time to time.
One of the original 4 from the Greensboro Woolworth's lunch counter sit
in passed away recently and even tonight on Jeopardy one of the clues
referred to it. Still not a completly dead issue.
