So I've had a few contacts with former echo friends, to wit:

Hap says hello; he has his hands full taking care of Annie,
who has good days and bad days. He's also been promoted to
a supervisory role, which was not what he had in mind when
he took the job, so is scheduled for 81 games a season. He
says that he fully intends to return to the echo, but he's
several years behind on things he fully intends to do. He
says hello.

Swisher, sometime travel companion when Lilli's not around,
has no intention to return to the echo or any other cyber
community. He lost Connie last year and is in the process of
losing one brother and one best friend, both with expected
timelines of less than a year, so I and some of my friends
are consoling him with a bunch of baseball games and lots of
beer. He also says hello.

I'm thinking of finding Glen to see if we can meet somewhere
on the planet this year. Maybe even try to find Kevin before
he shuffles off this mortal coil.

     Title: STRAWBERRY BLUEBERRY JELLY & RUNNY SAUCE

  Servings: 6

      2 pk Strawberries- ripe
    1/2 pk Blueberries
    400 ml Water
      4 sl Gelatine; extra strong
    1/2 c  Sugar
      2 sl Lemons; rind of
    100 ml Cream- rich; runny

Hull 1 punnet of strawberries. Slice roughly. Add the hulled
berries, water, lemon peel & sugar to a small pan over low heat.
Allow to infuse for an hour, till all the flavour leaches into
the water. Strain carefully. Soften gelatine in cold water, add
to the strained liquor while it's warm.

Slice the second punnet of strawberries. Fill little glasses
with the berries. Ass the jelly starts to cool, pour into the
glasses. Set for 2 hours, or overnight.

Spoon runny cream on top & serve with little spoons.
