These were put in by the city for looks when the area was developed.
Supposedly going to get a new one some time this year to replace the one
that died a few years back in front of our house but I'll believe it
when I see it.

It's gone, just looked. OK, oldest to youngest--March, March, November,
October, April, July, August. Last one wasn't born when she gave me the
necklace but he's just about 9 months old now. The police detective said
that I'd be remembering pieces months (and even years) afterward; I
guess he was right.

And last night I was smart--I put the stuff for bbq beef in the crock
pot liner, then put it in the fridge. This morning before I went to
quilting, I put it in the pot and got it going. A few minutes ago I
shredded it & turned it up to high to cook off some of the extra liquid.
Baslama bread and heat some left over veggies--easy supper.
