So far it sounds like they're the kind of store I wouldn't mind in the
area. How's the selection of organics/natural foods? The Wegman's we go
to whenever we're in western NY has a good sized area, plus more
scattered around the store of those products. Of course they carry the
unnaturally colored/flavored products too but we don't look for them.

Give it a few months--they're still new enough that people are coming in
to check them out. They'll soon go back to where they used to shop if
it's closer to where they live or prices are the same or lower. A new
store, especially one that's a new brand to the area, has to be checked
out by anybody within a 25 mile (or greater) radius in the first 6
months of operation. When Trader Joe's opened in Raleigh, we gave them
several months before we went down, same with the new Whole Foods store.
We were familiar with both and had shopped a fair amount at the older WF
but the new one is closer to WF and our usual shopping "path".

I wouldn't go too far away as it would burn up any savings in getting
there/coming back. Steve was up in Louisburg yesterday and paid
5c/gallon less than the Lowe's grocery station near us. Probably burned
about a gallon or so in the drive home.

We try not to buy gas on Sundays, unless travelling.

I've not seen that around here. We have noticed quite a bit tho, while
travelling stations that advertise in big numbers their gas prices.
We'll head for them and find out it's a cash only price, credit is
usually about 10c/gallon more. Usually we decide to move on, sometimes
we have no choice but to stop there--and growl about it.
