I hear it in all sorts of "unlikely" places... lends itself well to
jazz, for instance...

Dunno... seems to be somewhat a revival of interest, and efforts to
engage newer generations and populations... Of course, my perceptions
could be skewed from listening to such programs as From the Top... (G)

Don't have reference materials at hand, but wasn't Telemann earlier than
Bach actually...?

Ah.  That would be cataloguing...  Mind you, I quite like Telemann,
too...  :)

Perhaps you were thought to be a native... thinking near-freezing to be
