No system at all - this is sort of the way things shook out
through my life. The original low-protein came from necessity
(lack of funds); low-carb because it made me feel better and
I was able to afford it.

It certainly is. You can tell by the ttypos.

Yesterday I ate a cleansing meal of eggplant, okra, and
lentil curries with rice and naan bread. Didn't do me
any good, and I am going to spoil the effect in a few
minutes with a couple sausages.

It is.

As he so readily points out, if he weren't hyperconcerned
with his health, they wouldn't have found his leukemia (which
he spells leukaemia, as though he were a Brit or something).

categories: sweet, historical, meat
yield: 1 batch

1 c molasses
1 c sugar
1 c beef drippings
4 Tb boiling water
cinnamon to taste
nutmeg to taste
ginger to taste
salt to taste
1 ts soda
flour

Mould quite stiff with flour. Roll out thin
and cut in squares. 

Bake until done.
