Are you like me and often scout the remnant pile? I love finding piles of
useful fabric that way (g). I haven't done it since we moved so it's about
time to find a fabric place or sewing machine store that also carries fabric
here. I may have to go to Binghamton, I'm just not sure yet.

Yes, holidays are on the way, and not too far away... (G)

Yes, I have one of those wire shelving structures. We were just talking about
moving it since it's not very ideal for what's on it - it worked for a temp fix
though. Ron is in the midst of building a new center island and some shelving
in the kitchen. He'll have to take a little break though. He got a very bad
flu this week (it's all over Ithaca now) and today we found out he's got
pneumonia. Antibiotics aught to take care of that, but right now he's feeling
pretty crummy :(

Yes, it was great finding it :) I can imagine Ron outside on it next summer :)

It's the same for my son... he still has days like that. I can only imagine
what that's like.

haha I know what you mean about the variations :)

We had this for dinner the other night.. trying to get as much garlic in Ron so
he can fight the infection (g):

==Broiled Garlic Chicken Breast==
2 Chicken Breast halves, bone-in with ribs 3 tablespoons soft butter
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon parsley
a few shakes of garlic salt
olive oil
salt, pepper

In a small bowl knead together the butter, garlic powder, parsley, and garlic
salt until well combined.

Using your fingertip or a small knife, lift the skin slightly on the chicken
breast and insert half the butter mixture, pushing it under the skin with your
finger. Repeat with the second breast. If you have any leftover just spread it
on the chicken breast half. Brush lightly with olive oil, turn it over and
brush the other side with olive oil. Salt and pepper both sides very lightly.

Place on a broiling pan skin side up, and broil for about 10 minutes. Turn
over and brush with oil lightly. Broil for another 10-15 minutes. Finally
turn skin side up again broil for about 3-5 minutes and test for doneness.

Take care,
Janis
