Hi Janis,

JK> That sounds good to me. :)

OK, we'll keep it at that.

 JK> That sounds sturdy :)

The upholstry, yes, very sturdy. It outlasted the couch. I think my
brother took the chair to auction tho.

>> well which was good. I have a couple of bolts of different kinds of

JK> Are you like me and often scout the remnant pile? I love finding
JK> piles of useful fabric that way (g). I haven't done it since we moved
JK> so it's about time to find a fabric place or sewing machine store that
JK> also carries fabric here. I may have to go to Binghamton, I'm just not
 JK> sure yet.

I've not looked thru remnant piles recently, at least at Jo-Ann's. Most
of the time I'm in there it's for supplies like interfacing, thread, etc
and specific fabric buying. Guess I ought to check the remnants tho.

JK> That sounds like a wonderful memory.

And we sat on those chairs for quite a few meals, not only while she was
alive, but after my mom inherited the set. It's still in use but one of
the chairs needs major repairs.

JK> Yes, holidays are on the way, and not too far away... (G)

His first job is at the end of the month and his "season" will be over
on Christmas Day. He may decide to wait on the 2nd shirt until next
year.

>> Sounds like a good plan.. we often moved dressers that way as well...

JK> Yes, I have one of those wire shelving structures. We were just
JK> talking about moving it since it's not very ideal for what's on it -
JK> it worked for a temp fix though. Ron is in the midst of building a
JK> new center island and some shelving in the kitchen. He'll have to

Sounds like you're working on some major improvements to the kitchen.
Will it be as nice as the one in Windsor eventually?

JK> take a little break though. He got a very bad flu this week (it's all
JK> over Ithaca now) and today we found out he's got pneumonia.
JK> Antibiotics aught to take care of that, but right now he's feeling
 JK> pretty crummy :(

My sympathies, I've had bronchitis and pneumonia enough to know what
he's going thru. The antibiotics will help but time will be the best
healer.

>> We emptied out the one in Windsor last weekend.. and we found a

 JK> > OOPS! (G)

JK> Yes, it was great finding it :) I can imagine Ron outside on it next
 JK> summer :)

While you are working in the garden?

 JK> the time tho, I > don't have to stop what I'm doing and take a nap--I

JK> It's the same for my son... he still has days like that. I can only
 JK> imagine what that's like.

You've had enough rough times that you have an idea of it.
