Hi Ruth,

Yes, fat and tall :) IIRC, when we'd get propane it cost around $600-700.00.

That's a nice way to save some $$ :)

Very easy to clean, that's true. I liked it a lot as I remembered more and
more about using it. It's been a while... It seems like every kitchen I've
used in the last whatever-many-years has had a gas range. It would be
interesting to see what an electric range would cost over time compared to a
gas range here... we do have 220 coming in, so we wouldn't have to upgrade the
house at least in that respect. We'd need a new electric range though but as
long as I'm dreaming .... (G)

Shoulda... :) Yes :) I think since our doc is in Binghamton (about an hour
away) we don't get there as often as we used to and we didn't think about it. I
don't need it, just Ron does. My son is so healthy, he never gets a sniffle :)
Now we're only 10 minutes from Ithaca so I should check if there is anywhere
offering free flu shots though. :)

That sounds like this one here... looks like it would be "just enough" :)
Typically, when I cook, I cook a lot of what I'm making and store it in the
frig or freezer.. that's one (or more days) I don't have to knock myself out
cooking (g). Or cleaning up after hehe...(g)

That's nice to do as well! Stainless? Will you have a pot rack in your new

Yes, same here :)

I have to contact the agent and see what kind of reactions she's hearing from
people.. not that we can do much over there at this point...

Yes, indeed. It's so neat .... I'm happy for the two of you :)

Yes, we're supposed to get hit with the latest polar vortex shortly but it
looks like the area won't be hit much.. guess we'll see.

> We've had frozen, but never burst, pipes.

We were working on the house in Windsor at the time, going every weekend... The
day the pipes burst, the heat decided not to come on the evening before. We had
just been there the day before.. and when the thaw from polar vortex (45F IIRC)
came the next day... boom. Just a mix of bad circumstances I guess. Thankfully
the insurance on the house covered everything that was destroyed, and the
interior probably looks better than it ever did, upstairs and down.

Take care,
Janis
