That's helpful. I have a feeling every little bit will help when it comes to
books because it's the same here :)

Real life in other words - to be expected with a good sized family.  I remember
my mom's kitchen entry way where her siamese cat had used the doorway as a
scratching post mercilessly  - until the wood was literally shredded :(  The
cat was her favorite though, and could do no wrong (grin)  I've always kept a
scratching post for our kitties, and that seems to take care of the problem.
Just thinking now of my mom's kitchen and her cat, is funny given the chairs MY
idiot pups ate :) :)

That sounds nice. They should be very comfortable.

Sure, it makes sense that that broken chair wouldn't be a concern right now...

More storage space is always great.  One of my big complaints in this kitchen
is actually the slide-out shelving in so many of the cupboards.  There are too
many of them for me.  I guess given the kinds of things I want to store,
regular cabinets would have worked better for me than those with slide-out
shelves.  Then again, when you are used to changing everything in a kitchen
kind of "at will" it's hard not to think about ripping out the existing kitchen
(G).

I was reading about thyme tea yesterday as a matter of fact.  I think I have a
bunch of dry thyme, and I may even have fresh thyme outside... I'll have to
look :)
