Just heard it's 41 in Raleigh right now, we're at 39 at 5:45.

Sigh! I've seen them used in handkerchief quilts and shadow box
displays. Maybe some of them will turn up where and when you're not
expecting them.

Yes, the 1930s and 40s fabrics are popular, usually in reproduction but
I've got the real thing. (G)

I'd need the room to put it, sure don't have it in this house, nor the

With quite a cult like following. The lady I know bought them for her
daughters--who weren't interested. Maybe some day they'll realise what
Mom bought and why.

From March 20, 2001 to August 26, 2006. Cold times like this week end
make me miss the warmth over there even more.

I didn't want to be on insulin the rest of my life, even tho the doctors
kept saying I would be. My primary care doctor retired just before I
went off it so she never knew (probably figured I would, when I saw her
a few months before) that I was able to totally quit it. Determination,
a lot of carb counting and giving up a lot of goodies that I now eat in
moderation.

Yes, very much so. With my parent's health the way it is, I make sure I
have the phone with me all the time.
