Exactly.  :)  Actually, it's also a useful adjunct for adult students,
just getting started, as it reduces how much is being thrown at them at
once...  there are some pretty nice teaching duets where the pupil plays
something simple from rote, while the teacher fills in a lot more to
make it sound like something pretty good...  :)

Sometimes people just have a better intuition about some things than the
scholars...  ;)
