Presumably, but can't prove it by me.

Slim chance, but not very likely. I can't ask my mom if she knew your
mom.

It is possible they met; Mom started in the library in 1966. She'd
worked 2 years as a school aide prior to that but the principal (and
others) talked her into giving the library a try.

Dad was up with her for a couple of hours today--said she just lay there
(not sure if in bed or in wheelchair), with an occaisional light squeeze
(definate loss in strength) of the hand from time to time. Nurse was
also trying (I gathered, not very successfully) to get her to eat
something.
