Good point.  For all the times I've either sung or played parts of
Messiah, I've never been paid... even for the one in a wedding, since it
was my niece-daughter's wedding...  ;)

Fortunately (probably), the bullying that I was subjected to was only
emotional, not physical... and mostly on the order of not being part of
the "inner circle", not that I cared a lot about that, most of the time
anyway...  :)
