I think there's now a version of the pump that checks the glucose level
more frequently, and adjusts the dosage accordingly on the fly...  It's
still not something that I'd go for, I don't think...  ;)

Numbers aren't everything....

Natural meds take longer to show results.... and probably have more than
a little synergy associated with them..  Nature's Way has a Blood Sugar
supplement that includes a lot more than cinnamon, though that is one of
the major components thereof...

That's what I thought you meant.  :)  After I asked you, Richard did a
search on it and came up with a slightly different restriction, that the
search consist of two words within quotes, and only yield a single
result on Google...

Maybe, except there's still plenty for the nurses, both LPN and RN, to
do on their visits...

Hospital patient techs do have a different training than the home health
aides... and probably different rules, too... :)

Depends on the drugs and the situation... they still keep giving heart
meds, for example...  Our friend Gene up at the Pond, whom you met, was
on hospice when they were down in Florida, but he came off it when they
were up at the Pond... that went on for a number of years... I haven't
really figured out all the permutations of the protocols, even after
having had a few people in hospice I was responsible for.  But I know
that diabetic HL was allowed anything she wanted to eat once she was in
hospice... of course, by that point, she didn't care much about eating
anything, even her favorite cheats and comfort foods...
